I am Jaide Flynn, owner and photographer of Wonder Life, here in Ottawa, Ontario.

“We’re in this unique time in history where there’s so many people home in their houses,” Soulia told NECN Boston. “People are working from home, their kids are home, and we’re all just together under our roofs. It’s such a unique time in our history and feels like it needs to be documented.” She has also encouraged photographers around the world to join the #TheFrontStepsProject
So here I am joining Cara and other photographers, not just in our immediate area or city, but all across our nation in #TheFrontStepProject.
Over the next couple of weeks, I want to brighten your day, and capture your sense of family, love & comfort right from the curb or sidewalk of your home.
It will take approximately 5 minutes and I will shoot from your sidewalk or curb – an appropriately safe distance from your home and family. Remember, this is to document your current life. Come outside in your pyjamas and slippers, or dress super casual, whatever makes you feel like “you” right now. Bring a coffee, your laptop, your pets!
I will post the images on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #TheFrontStepsProject and of course will email you the digital images for own family to look back on,
What Comes Next?
In exchange, all I ask that you make a small (or big!) donation to the Ottawa Food Bank & CHEO. 100% of donations will go to the Ottawa Food Bank & CHEO.
Ottawa Food Bank are urgently looking for donations to help fill the gap of those children who were dependant on school programs for food.
CHEO is fundraising also for supplies and help during this unprecedented time.
